Marshalling & Parking |
The marshalling provided by NTAS covers not only guidance of aircraft but also
the provision of important foundations for enabling handling to proceed efficiently.
For this reason, only staff who have undergone specialist training are allowed
to marshal aircrafts. By positioning verifiers who exclusively watch over wing
clearances, we ensure that aircraft are guided cautiously and accurately. The
wingman assists with marshalling next to the stopped aircraft, locking the wheels
when it is confirmed the aircraft has come to a complete standstill. The cooperation
between the marshaller and chockman puts the pilot at ease about guiding and
parking. In this way we have built up an excellent handling atmosphere.

Moving of Aircraft |
Experienced staff are able to handle all aspects of moving aircraft between
different spots or towing them in and out of hangars. Only trained staff with
experience in avoiding accidents or damage are employed as drivers of towing
tugs (tugmen), the brakemen who sit in the cockpit, and the wing tip inspectors.
These persons are highly experienced in internal ramp structures and move aircraft
judiciously according to the instructions given by the ramp control. Specialist
staff with abundant experience are employed to push back aircraft to the taxiway.
Our operations ensure that aircraft movement is executed smoothly. |
